4 Months-Finally!

So...since my baby girl is closer to 5 months than 4 months, I decided I was way over due. I tried to post several times, but I wanted to upload a video from my flip of her giggling and rolling over (soooo cute!) and was unsuccessful on multiple attempts. computer assistance please!
Anyway, these pics really are from 4 months. Our little love is precious as ever. Sleeping has been a little difficult. She's just so aware of everything that she stopped settling herself during the night and instead wakes up crying every 3 hours at which point i get up, nurse her, and within 3 minutes she's out cold... We actually let her fuss it out (not really cry per se) last night and it took 5 minutes at bedtime and 5 minutes once during the night. She slept 8 hours and boy did we need it!
Lofton started daycare the week of September 27th. Her teachers are great and of course adore her, but by Saturday evening she had a cold :( We went to the doctor on Tuesday b/c she was so sad i thought maybe it was an ear infection, but nope. She ran a fever that night, but by Wednesday was fever-free and on the road to recovery. She has been sleeping in her bouncer b/c of the congestion (which is a little better than Daddy's chest which is where she slept the majority of Monday and Tuesday...). I too have been bit by the daycare bug and have no voice at this point. My fever has passed and since residency does not allow much flexibility, I pray none of my patients got sick!
At 4 months Lofton is belly laughing which is to die for. She's ticklish and it is SO cute. She still only rolls from her tummy to back, but can make it from her back to her side. I stopped swaddling her arms b/c I think it's a matter of time before she officially rolls. She took her shots like a champ again and slept 10 hours that night (aww, silver lining). She's still small but growing appropriately so our pediatrician said no need to supplement with formula. That being said, she did go on a nursing strike for a while and most of her food is pumped. We'll see how much longer we do this. Not quite ready to give up those night time cuddles (or my mid morning doughnut!), but a little freedom would be nice.
Weight 11lb 1.5oz (8th %)
Height 22 3/4 in (6th %)
Head (15th %)
No giant on our hands, but she's doing great!
