We had a busy and fun Easter weekend. So blessed to have lots of cousins living nearby to share the holiday traditions with. On Saturday afternoon, we headed over to Gigi and Papa J's house where Lofton got to dye eggs (pink only), decorate a bunny cake (discover jelly beans), and hunt eggs (work on identifying her name). Gigi was smart and knew that the "big" kids would clearly shine in the egg hunt department so all the eggs had their names on them. This girl definitely knows the letter "L" and since none of her cousins share the starting letter, she did a great job!
On Sunday, I rounded at the hospital EARLY so that we could make the 8am service at church and then meet up with family for brunch. On Sunday afternoon Mimi and Pop Pop (Dewey's parents) came over and brought a delicious ham and deviled eggs. Note to self, L LOVES deviled eggs! As expected the easter bunny not only visited our house, but also left a basket at each of the grandparents' houses. Busy bunny!
Overall, we had a great weekend celebrating the gift of everlasting life that we have been given!
Don't know why some of these are so fuzzy... refer to facebook for better views :)
